It was so stressful to watch. Every shot of a crash seemed to show him emerging past someone else’s wreckage unscathed and it seemed like there was no way he’d make it to the end.

I wanted Stefan to have saved enough fuel to make that last, if I’m honest. Rossi was my second choice though.

Yeah, that dude is seriously good. That was fun to watch. I was there in person, and it was amazing to see how much drivers were fighting their cars. We saw a lot of very impressive saves down in turn 1.

I don’t care for crowds either, and the crowd is ENORMOUS. The 500 is worth it though. This was my 22nd one. I’ve been going since I was 15.

If you want a more manageable oval race, Gateway is incredible. You can get within eight feet of the cars going 192 mph, and the energy of the crowd is amazing. It’s a much smaller and less densely packed crowd though.

If I recall correctly, you’re coming from Colorado? For anyone traveling a distance, a Road America weekend pass is the best deal in motorsports. You get three days of racing in a beautiful setting, on a magnificent track. We bring scooters, but you can also rent a golf cart. That’s expensive, but it’s worth it. The grounds are HUGE, and there are many awesome places to watch from. We spend the weekend going from spot to spot.

We wanted to go to Watkins Glen this year so of course they dropped it. Next year I’ll see what I can do...and 24 hours of Daytona is on the list too.

Yeah, I would’ve loved to go see them at The Glen. It’s a shame that didn’t work out. I promise you won’t regret s weekend at Road America.
